The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago's food bank, believes that a healthy community begins with access to food. It is at the heart of a network comprising over 800 partner organizations and programs, including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, mobile distributions, and other partners, all dedicated to providing food, dignity, and hope to neighbors throughout Chicago and Cook County. The Food Depository tackles the root causes of hunger through job training, advocacy, and other innovative solutions. As a proud member of Feeding America, the national network of food banks, it strives to help those in need move from hunger to hope, contributing to a Greater Chicago.
